A quantum leap for induction cooking and frying
For the first time, a revolutionary induction technology allows cable-free temperature measurement during cooking, close-up to the pan base or griddle plate and hence the food in preparation. Instantaneous realtime electronic control of the specified cooking or frying temperature brings food to just the right heat, and holds it there. This new, software-controlled induction technology makes for efficient, flexible cooking and frying – just what kitchen chefs have always wanted. Patented INDUCS technology marks a new era for induction cooking and frying.
Part of this new and revolutionary induction technology is a novel temperature measurement technique that monitors molecular changes brought about by heating and cooling in the metal of the pan base or griddle plate. When stirring or adding further raw items, for example, any thermal change is immediately picked up and compensated to maintain the set temperature. The conventional measurement approach uses temperature sensors in the stovetop and griddle plate; these may take as long as 20 seconds to respond – but INDUCS technology relays temperature measurements instantly. The system responds in realtime and immediately corrects the temperature. Conventional temperature sensors measure an area of approx. 1 cm2 – the new INDUCS technology measures and monitors over the entire cooking or frying surface. This is a world first: there is no other technology currently capable of tracking temperature changes in realtime during the cooking process. Patented INDUCS technology fulfils the dreams of countless kitchen chefs. Imagine selecting just the right pan base temperature at the touch of a button: from sabayon to steaks, preparation takes place at constant temperature, with less than 2% deviation.
Cooking with...
...Power levels: In this mode, inductive power transfer is controlled by setting the level, which is visualised on an LED bargraph display.
...Hold function: This program maintains the current temperature at the pan base. Pressing the ‘Hold’ button switches from cooking with power levels to hold operation. The hold function is used purely to keep up a constant temperature, measured at the pan base using a non-contact technique. Novel INDUCS technology takes care of temperature monitoring and control. The function is indicated on the display.
...Temperature control: Allows cooking at absolute temperatures, with values entered in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. The current pan base temperature is compared in realtime with the specified set temperature. Novel INDUCS technology monitors and regulates the temperature. The display indicates the current temperature; a brief press of the temperature button displays the set temperature. Pans and cooking positions require once-only mutual calibration before this cooking program can be used.
